I read this today. It was Bible Gateway’s verse of the day. I was looking for something else when I stumbled across it. There are no accidents.
“Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it, the LORD is His name, Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’…” -Jeremiah 33:2-3 (NASB)

I don’t know why certain things happen. I don’t understand tragedies. I don’t understand how everything fits. I only know that God is God, God is good, He is in control, from Him are all things, of Him are all things, and to Him are all things. The Lord is gracious in that while we are deserving of death, He has granted the way to Life in Him. Pardon, forgiveness, and redemption to be found Christ Jesus.
By Grace are we saved through Faith in Jesus Christ. This much I know, and I rest my entire life on it. And it is staggering.
